LIsa Spindler is a fine art photographer/artist born in Detroit,MI. Lisa is best known for her black and white portrait and figurative work along with experimental studies of industrial objects and architecture. For the past 40 years, LIsa has built a vast archive of her work which consists of both analog film and digital files. Her photographs have appeared on covers of many publications including The New York Times Magazine. Lisa has showcased her work in both solo and group shows including The Detroit Institute of Art, RALPH PUCCI NY and Galerie Camille. Lisa’s studio in downtown Detroit is a curated space of photography, art, textiles and design. Her previous studio was featured in the book “ Detroit, The Dream is Now” Abrams Publishing by Michel Arnaud.
